Maintenance Methods for Mirror Polished Knives
Please be careful not to over-polish mirror polished knives as it may cause scratches. After use, lightly wash the knife with detergent using the soft side of a sponge. The surface of a mirror polished knife is very delicate, so dirt can be easily removed. Be cautious not to use the rough side or a coarse sponge for cleaning as it may scratch the mirror polished surface. After washing, thoroughly wipe off any moisture with a dry cloth to keep it clean.
The Origin of Craftsmanship
-
Mass production lacks a sense of attachment. That’s why I want to put my heart into each piece.
-
In mass production, it’s nearly impossible to infuse each item with the same passion. The more you make, the easier it becomes to cut corners, and the initial dedication put into the first piece begins to fade. As blacksmiths, we treasure every piece of steel we work with, which is why, no matter how time-consuming, we never compromise. Crafting a single blade means understanding the nature of the steel, forging it, shaping it, and putting heart and soul into it. Each piece reflects the result of hundreds of rounds of forging. That’s why mass production lacks true attachment. I believe that even the smallest item holds real value when we pour our soul into each one.
