  • Precautions

    1. If you wish to request Honbazuke, please select "Yes" when ordering. (Free of charge)
At KIREAJI, we provide the "Honbazuke" service free of charge upon request. Please note that this is a practical initial sharpening. As the knives are shipped internationally, the blade must be protected during transit. You can make the final adjustments yourself to suit your preferences.
    2. Each piece is handmade and therefore unique. Please consider the weight and length as approximate.
    3. As buffalo horn is a natural material, color variations may occur, and the actual product may differ slightly from the photo.
    4. We carefully manage our inventory, but in the rare case an item is out of stock, we will notify you by email.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. (Estimated reply time: within 10 hours)

Features of Ginsan

  • 1. For those seeking a rust-resistant knife

Ginsan is highly resistant to rust, similar to regular stainless steel, making it ideal for those who want low-maintenance knives.

  • 2. For those who prioritize sharpness

Ginsan offers sharpness comparable to carbon steel and has high hardness, making it perfect for those who value a razor-sharp edge.

  • 3. For those looking to overcome the drawbacks of stainless steel knives

Ginsan is easier to sharpen than regular stainless steel knives and is known for less drag when cutting ingredients.
